Luggage & Hook Scales: common questions
What is the price of a luggage scale in Pakistan?
Taraazu luggage scales cost Rs 1,200 for the pocket NS-26 (40 kg), Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 for 50 kg hanging scales, and Rs 3,500 for the strap scales NS-X1 and NS-X2.
How do I weigh my suitcase with a luggage scale?
Switch it on, attach the hook or strap to the suitcase handle, and lift slowly until the bag is off the floor. Hold still for two seconds. The reading locks on the screen, so you can put the bag down and read it.
How much luggage can I take on my flight?
Allowances depend on the airline, route and ticket class, so check your ticket or the airline's website. Weigh each bag at home, and leave a small margin because airport scales can differ slightly.
Can I use a hanging scale for my shop?
Yes. The NS-35 steel hook scale and the NS-15 weigh up to 50 kg, so they work for sacks, parcels and fish or produce in markets.
What is the difference between NS-X1 and NS-X2?
Both are luggage straps with a built-in scale. The NS-X2 adds a lock, so the strap also secures your suitcase while travelling.
